The RTT Collaborative Photo Contest

What does rural health education and training look like? Share your experience with us by entering the RTT Collaborative Photo Contest! The RTT Collaborative seeks high-quality photographs accompanied by a short story, reflection or poem that describes how the photo depicts rural education and training in 250 words or less. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but in this contest, a picture without a story will not be considered!

Students in any health professions education program and residents, faculty and staff in any medical school or residency are eligible to enter. Photo contest judges and paid RTTC staff are ineligible to participate.

Submission Guidelines

Photographs must be original work by the entrant. Photos, description, and entry form must be submitted together electronically using the specified naming convention. Photos must be in .jpeg format (resolution should be at least 1200 x 600 pixels) and must include the location where the photo was taken along with a short story, reflection or poem. If a person is portrayed in a recognizable way in the image, a signed release form must be obtained and submitted along with the photo or the entry will not be considered. Participants may submit up to 5 photographs. By submitting a photo and entry form, entrant acknowledges that The RTT Collaborative acquires the right to use the photographs in printed and electronic publications; upload to the rttcollaborative.net website; and circulate via social media outlets.
