Presented by the Douglas Public Health Network & the Douglas Opioid Task Force Joint Providership by Bay Area Hospital

During this event you will hear from local and state experts regarding the current opioid epidemic, chronic pain, and how our community is working together to meet this epidemic head on and save lives.  You will also have the opportunity to be trained on and receive a free dose of Narcan.

Keynote Speaker:  Sam Quinones, a journalist, story teller, former LA Times reporter, and author of three acclaimed books of narrative non-fiction. His most recent book is "Dreamland:  The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic" by Bloomsbury Press.

Registration Information:

Cost:  $50 for professionals.  FREE to community members.  Includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
